No cut-down version. No second-class experience. No “student track” in a basement.

We can’t fix capitalism (yet), but we can get you into the room.

Why we’re doing this
Because talent shouldn’t depend on your bank account balance.
Because the next great embedded engineer might currently be living on pasta and hope.
Because we want the room to be sharp, curious, and slightly sleep-deprived.

By applying for a Broke Student Ticket, you agree that:
- We might share your data with potential sponsors.
- Not in a creepy way.
- In a “hey sponsors, look at these brilliant future engineers” way.
Because sponsor money helps us keep tickets affordable and the conference independent.
Also, there’s a non-zero chance that we’ll use that sponsor money to fund our long-term research project:

If successful, we’ll travel back and convince more embedded engineers to attend emBO++ from day one.
* Because everything else in life is getting more expensive — rent, food, train tickets, that coffee you pretend is essential for debugging. We figured at least your conference ticket shouldn’t be part of that chaos.
That said, due to global inflation, supply chain issues, and the rising cost of absolutely everything, we unfortunately had to double the price of the free ticket this year.
So it now costs:
